KS3 British History: How did the Transatlantic Slave Trade Triangle Work?

This lesson will teach students to explain how the Transatlantic Slave Trade (or Triangular Slave Trade) worked. Students will be able to create their own slave trade map and diagram and with this, fully explain the aims and the purpose of the slave trade from the point of view of the European slave traders. This is a fully resourced lesson which includes a number of printable fact sheets and worksheets as well as engaging background information, warm up tasks and learning reviews.
