Students to fill out the tables (practising substitution) and then plot the graphs (useful to print single sided for this activity). Can use the results to start discussing the differences between the graphs (slope, intersections) and how these relate to the equations. y=mx+c straight line graphs gradient

This is a simple but fantastic resource that I would definitely print on A3 with the two pages adjacent to each other as mentioned in the description. I will definitely use this when pupils are confident with substitution and plotting points in all 4 quadrants before starting to introduce how to calculate the gradient and work out the equation of a linear graph.
