Literacy Teaching Resource: PREVIEW - Balanced Argument - Should the Vikings have invaded England? (4 day Overview and Activities)

This teaching resource uses the text genre balanced arguments to discuss whether or not the Vikings should have invaded England in easy to follow way. Students are taught to learn actions for conjunctions, know the difference of open and closed questions, take part in a hot-seating activity and identify features of a balanced argument. There are also SPaG starter activities mainly aimed at year 6 objectives. This is the first week of imitation following Pie Corbitt's sequence of work. It contains a 4 day overview with a 27 slide SMART Notebook presentation all activities including independent activities.
