A series of 5 weeks worth of lessons which focus on re-capping and revising the skills needed for the Macbeth section of Literature Paper 1.
This series of lessons links the skills of the Literature paper with the skills of the AQA Language papers. This may become confusing for some students, so some lessons may need to be adapted to suit just the literature paper for lower abilities, however it has worked well across a range of sets.
Lessons predominantly focus on approaches to planning, structuring an answer and linking the extract to wider themes and ideas. There is also an 'at home' guide for parents for revising the literature and language exams'.
Not all of the lessons on the rough guide are covered because of time constraints.
