we had a few boys who were into Ben 10 so we used this interest to help them identify numbers. We cut out each Ben 10 watch and laminated them. Then we stuck them around outside and the children went on a number hunt. they used their whiteboards and markers to try and write the number they found More…and attempted to identify it. Topics also included; number.

I like this! Our boys love seeing up-to-date stuff included in the class and they always like to be on the move so I can see this suiting them down to the ground. Thank you!

A great way of linking in popular culture to engage learners! Thank you - I will share this via Twitter this week @TESEarlyYears

Yes we had some boys last year who loved Ben10 so we made a Ben 10 writing den which was a tent with headed note paper for them to use and they loved it. Thank you very much
