Here is a summary activity that I created for the topic of acids and alkalis for my year 7 class. It features various creative ways of representing the subject matter that they had been taught including a pH poem, universal indicator play and lab safety poster. Hope you have as much fun with it as we did :-)

Lovely set of activities. My only concern would be that some are much shorter than others, so putting students working in groups as you suggest could lead to timing problems. However, this is easily overcome with extra activities or careful grouping. Lovely!

I really like these ideas! You classes must be very interactive and full of engaged and happy learners :-) All these encourage group work and are a great way to develop thinking! Thanks for sharing!

Brilliant set of activities that could easily be used as starters/plenaries in themselves.
