These are practice / revision essays from when I took the Government & Politics A-Level a few years ago. The essays are laid out in bullet points and were done for revision purposes. I achieved an A*.

The essays:
Evaluate the view that backbenchers are now an effective force in the House of Commons
Is the House of Lords more effective at scrutinising the executive than the House of Commons?
Is Parliament an effective check on the Westminster executive?

New things have happened in politics since then (to put it mildly) but these resources are still relevant and contain useful info on significant acts and milestones in UK parliament.

Happy studying!
