National Share a Story month is a great way to celebrate storytelling. To join in with the celebrations, we’ve put together some resources for you to deliver a compelling and fun storytelling session with your class.
We have a lesson plan and resources available for both Y1 and Y2. The printable resources have clear learning objectives that are linked to the KS1 English curriculum:
- To write a short narrative.
- To summarise the main events in a story.
Simply download, select your year group, print the resources and deliver the session. Then, watch in awe as the children delve into the magic of storytelling.
