The sheet is aimed at LA pupils and allows them to access solving quadratic equations by factorising. I have used this with a bottom set Year 11 group to help them consolidate the process. The sheet goes through step by step showing them how to Factorise, then solve by putting each bracket equal to zero separately and solving accordingly to give two solutions. Suggested starter tasks would be solving simple quadratics (x squared = 16) to highlight where the idea of getting two solutions comes from. Feel free to edit/alter to suit the needs of your groups. It could act as a nice reminder for HA pupils during revision.
