This is a great KS3 lesson on substituting values into linear, quadratic and cubic equations and plotting coordinates. It demonstrates the link between algebra and geometry. The student instruction worksheets are very detailed with lots of screen shots which is helpful for those new to the autograph program. This allows students to check that their answers are correct and to emphasise the link between equations and graphs.

This is a lovely lesson on substituting into equations and plotting coordinates, it really helps to emphasise the link between algebra and geometry. It also helps the students to see very clearly that these equations form curves as this is how autograph plots them, rather than trying to join the points with straight lines. The student instructions are very detailed with lots of screen shots which is helpful so even if you haven't used autograph before it shouldn't matter. This is a great lesson, thank you for sharing.
