5 Lessons based on ‘That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown’ by Cressida Cowell.
Lessons are designed for Year 1 or 2 but could be adapted.
I used the version on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnffEOoI6ZM

Lesson 1- Focus the adjectives used to describe Stanley & how you would feel/react if the Queen took your favourite toy.

Lesson 2- Using speech bubbles, draw a picture of you with your favourite toy and what you would say to the Queen. Incorporate some PSHCE with; ‘When you someone borrow your toy?’

Lesson 3-Create a ‘Lost’ poster for Stanley focusing on adjectives we looked at earlier in the week.

Lesson 4- Grammar lesson based on time connectives. Children to follow same format of listing what the they would offer Emily Brown using time connectives.

Lesson 5- Write a letter to the Emily from the Queen. Focus on handwriting, time connectives and commas in a list. There is an example of a letter here too.
