This is a very visual automatic generator of discontinuous/continuous graph shapes for when you are looking at variation in either Ks3 or KS4. Iam lucky enough to have an IWB and students can add their data using the drop down boxes. This is done in groups throughout a class data sharing lesson. At the end of the activity you will have a set of graphs automatically displayed.

A very useful resource which the pupils can use themselves. <br /> To VAllin - in order to change the X and Y axes click on the graph, select design tab at the top of the page and then select change chart type. A list of options will pop up and you can change it to &quot;column&quot; which should put your dependent variable on the y axis.

The graphs are the wrong way round, frequency as the dependant variable should be up the side, not the bottom.
