Create a timetable from scratch!
Whole School Timetable file makes use of Excel's in built features to help optimise and schedule blocks. Once the setup process is completed timetables can be viewed for an individual teacher, class or room.
Step by step instructions included and I am happy to assist users who have any questions.
There is a free version of this resource (containing setup worksheets) which I would recommend you try before you buy: Whole School Timetable Free Version

Hi,

I have just purchased this, but have a couple of questions.

Is there any way that I can add further subjects to the options pages, I can only seem to add 13 subjects, but need at least 15.

Hi G1J. Thanks for purchasing. Yes you should be able to add subjects. With marcos enabled you should see an additional menu tool bar with the option to "insert column". Select any cell within the range you want to run this macro. I think this is explained in the instructions file that is included with the resource. If you have any more questions it may be easier to contact me via Twitter @hatchtag73 and I will be happy to help.

Hello again.

Can you please explain how the block pages work?

I understand going across shows the classes in each year group, but what does going down from A to F mean?

And Why does each letter (eg A) have 6 small squared? What does that mean?

Thanks

Hi Kelinghan. The blocks which are set up in "Blocks (Outline)" worksheet is just a way to make sure that all the classes have been scheduled before they are put into chronological order (using "Master" worksheet). For example if you have a 40 period week then there could be 5 blocks (A - E) with 8 periods in each. I can share my email address through Twitter if you have any further questions.
