Writing and spelling challenge cards next steps English Year 2 KS1

I have created these challenge cards to give to children who have finished early during an English lesson. I have laminated them, back to back, and allow them to write these on whiteboards or in their 'writing journals'. The children really like them and they seem to be engaged. I intend to add more to my current selection.

I have two sets of these. One I call 'hot challenges' (these cards) and the other I call 'cool challenges' (in other resources).
