I found these I suppose after a discussion with my dad that papers have become easier. They definitely have become clearer. I have found that there are certain top sets who love this sort of thing.
It was fun doing them myself and interesting and raises some good discussions too in the class about exam papers, exam techniques, problem solving, core skills etc… a worthwhile lesson or homework!!

This is a list for the pupils of all the topics that they need to cover for the GCSE Maths Extension Syllabus. It has been checked against the latest syllabus from Edexcel and AQA but it may not feel exhaustive for some and maybe feel too long for others. It has though been popular with students to give them an overview of all the different components that they need to learn.
This is comprehensive list that is divided into approximate lessons so that pupils should be very familiar with the headings and remember the lessons on each. Each major topic is broken down into again lesson sized titles, such as Trigonometry - Sine Rule, Cosine Rule, Area Rule etc.
Pupils have found it extremely helpful to have a neat overview to keep referring too. It comes with RAG (red, amber and green) assessment boxes to help pupils in their self assessment.
There is an IGCSE version sold separately on the following link:

This is a lovely wall display or handout for Geometry, Algebra, Number and Statistics to explain the difference between levels from 1 to 6. This is mainly aimed at foundation students and those students around the level 4 borderline. I.e. the higher attainers tend to be more independent and understand progression much better.
I have found that given to students early has really helped them to get an overview of what progress looks like in different areas of maths.
Feel free to change the colours and personalise it.

This is a Doodle Sheets on Angle Rules to help pupils learn, revise and memorize key facts on Angle Rules.
It works extremely well as a resource to give to the pupils while going through teaching slides as they can colour, doodle or make extra notes. Research shows the benefits of this type of visual left-right cross brain activity. It is shown to help learners make connections, relax, retain key principles as well as being fun and enjoyable. It also means that students will have great notes to revise from and notes in exactly the way they learnt it in class (also aiding their memory). The sheet also includes a simple one question mini test for AFL and to further pupils confidence and assess understanding of the teaching part of the lesson.
This sheet mirrors and accompanies the first three lesson on angle rules to be found in the links below:
