Sustainable Energy Game - lockdown, keyworker students, end of term, geography, science

(1)
A game to play with students all you need is a die. It will test students maths skills and throw in a bit of luck. You have £5000 to spend on sustainable energy developments. Cost are in the headings in the table. You must spend all the £5000. Each day will start with a roll of the dice. What ever the number lands on determines the days energy. Profitable = times the profit amount by how many of the energy type you have Broken and Damaged = two options every blank out the type for how ever many days or fix them straight away. The winner will be the person that earns the most money at the end of the game. See the example in the table below. The total for day 1 would be: Profit = 30 + 20 = £50 Broken = -£150 Total = -£100 Chance to buy more if needed every 7 days and add up totals Extra weeks can be printed from page 3

Physics 3D foldable to show the thermal energy losses in a house, Heat transfer activity

(1)
This foldable comes in 4 parts, all designed and created by TRJ. Learners should be encouraged with describe and explain how energy is lost and can be prevented in the space within the foldable - along with this literacy focus there is also a student worksheet attached with calculation questions - this could easily be completed for a HW. The design itself is slightly editable so if you are just after the design of the house, it could be used for many different purposes. thanks for looking, For other foldables and resources see my shop https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/TRJ
