A fun, detective-style drugs in sport lesson. Delegate one prison officer per table who has to explain the pros/cons of taking a specific drug. Students will have to look at the suspects on the table and discuss if that drug would be used in their sport and if so what perceived benefit would it give. Students rotate round to three different tables.

A huge booklet consisting of a range of sporting examples and news articles. The booklet is split into each section of paper 2. There are several articles and stories. This allows students to read both in class and as homework tasks and increase their range of sporting knowledge when it comes to providing answers throughout the course

On the next slide are a series of statements/questions and keywords On your tables you will have a set of different coloured sticky notes As a team, you must answer the questions as quickly as possible by writing the answer on the sticky note, running to the front of the classroom and sticking the answer in the relevant box If there is a key word – write something you know about this!
