I use this set of resources with Year 8 when introducing Elizabeth I. The students really enjoy these lessons as they have been designed to be quite creative. I use these resources with Year 8 when teaching about Edward VI. The first lesson is about Edward, who he was and whether he was a good/ bad king. The second lesson is about who should take the throne after Edward- Lady Jane Grey or Mary (it is a boxing fight lesson). Enjoy and use as you wish.

I use these resources with Year 8 when teaching about James I. This is an introduction to witches, how to spot a witch, and the witch finder general. There is also a worksheet on Hocus Pocus the film, which can be used when watching the DVD towards the end, near Easter. Enjoy and use as you wish.

I use these resources with Year 8 as an introduction into James I. We first of all act out the story of the Gun Powder plot. We then look at whether the plotters were framed. We then put Cecil and Guy Fawkes on trial. Enjoy and use as you wish.

These lessons have been designed for Year 7 Medieval History. This is not a SOW as such, but lessons that I teach throughout the Medieval module. For example, when teaching about Queen Matilda I first teach Medieval women; when teaching the Black Death, I first teach about Medieval Medicine You can use these lessons how and where you would like. I use these lessons with Year 9 to introduce the rise of Hitler and Nazi Germany. This is usually the last topic in Y9 during the summer term. Lessons cover: 1. The Treaty of Versailles 2. (It is also included in this sale as well) You will need to use a textbook for information for some of these lessons. I use the edexcel GCSE international relation text book- but any can be used. All of the lessons follow a very similar structure and their is a lot of exam practice in the lessons.
