Lesson and worksheets on the topic of on beauty and the pressures and influences of magazines and the fashion industry. Unfortunately, for some reason I am unable to upload the listening track that goes with the gap-filling exercise, but I have attached the teacher's script if you would like to read it yourself. I have also attached a video that I found on youtube and its transcript. In the end, I haven't included the video clip in my lesson, but I have attached it anyway in case you find it useful. Many thanks.

Song to help with French pronounciation

A resource inspired from an MFL workshop led by Gianfranco Conti. I chose this song by George Brassens as I find him very articulate and clear to listen to and this song contains many cultural references (Le Radeau de la Meduse, Fluctuat nec mergitur etc.). The purpose of this activity is to help students to focus on French phonetics. It is aimed to help students understand the sounds produced by certain combinations of letters (ie eau, on, ou, au, en) in French.
