This is a full set of connect four boards for students to use to revise for the Component 1, 2 and 3 exams on the Eduqas Geography B specification. However, many of the topics will apply the other exam boards. They include questions ranging between 1-6 marks for topics including: global cities, features of UK cities, Leisure and retail, globalisation and development, coasts, rivers, weather and climate change, ecosystems, water supply and desertification. All you will need to purchase is some connect four counters, or alternatively make your own!

This resource is for Eduqas Geography B. It includes a revision worksheet for students to fill in about global cities: Sydney and Mumbai. It also includes an answer sheet for the teacher.

A nice activity for Year 7 and 8 students to break the ice. It could be used with new GCSE classes too. The students go around the classroom and ask each other the questions on the sheet. They record the name of the person and their answer to the question. Should last between 15-20 minutes. Simple activity for the first day back. It can be made competitive by offering rewards for the first person to finish.

I have created a set of model answers for 1-9 mark questions on Hot Deserts. They could be used to grade, identify strengths and weaknesses or as revision. I have also included a PowerPoint with exam techniquie guidance as to how to answer the questions. It gives students the opportunity to construct their own exam answers, using the ‘2 minute plan’ to help structure 9 mark questions.

This is a really engaging resource that takes a project based learning approach to students designing and presenting a sustainable building. There is a series of 4 lessons, including one piece of homework. The first lesson comprises of a comprehension activity to inform students about the different types of sustainable building design. The second lesson focuses on students preparing a presentation to read in front on the class in the third lesson.
