Bohunt Horsham

We are a new free school, in our fifth year since opening with students in Years 7-11 in our brand new building in Horsham, West Sussex. Over the next few years we will grow to become an all-through school for 1620 students aged 4-16, with a nursery facility. We are part of the supportive and innovative Bohunt Education Trust, a MAT with eight schools including two Sixth Forms and a boarding facility. We may be separated geographically, however, all BET schools are student centred, sharing an uncompromising belief in high achievement and unconditional positive expectations, a real sense of community and a dynamic, innovative approach to education.

As a new, all-through school we know we are a unique prospect to consider and we are always happy to talk informally to potential candidates and would welcome interested candidates for tours by prior arrangement.

Our band new, state-of-the-art site has been designed and built with education at the forefront and includes specialist teaching spaces and a whole school one to one iPad provision, as well a wide range of sports and extra-curricular provision. We are leaders in outdoor education with an outdoor classroom and onsite Bushcraft, the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and Big Expeditions to wilderness locations such as Greenland, alongside a variety of other trips at home and abroad.

As a BET teacher, you’ll be encouraged to explore and extend your own practice, through our innovative teaching methods and partnerships with business and industry. You’ll also enjoy fantastic opportunities for professional subject-specific training and development to enhance both the classroom experiences for your students and your own career progression with over 100 hours a year for set aside for CPD.

As BET's first all through school, you will also be offered opportunities for career development at Bohunt Horsham through collaboration and teaching experience across the primary and secondary phases.
