We pride ourselves on providing a stimulating, vibrant, creative and encouraging environment where our pupils continue their education outside of the school, and become lifelong learners. We want our pupils to have an interest in the world around them and for that interest to lead to fulfilling and imaginative lives, where the achieve to the best of their abilities.

Our school is a place where calm and focused learning is encouraged. This is reliant on an environment where core values are key. At Field Lane Primary our MIRROR values form the basis of our positive behaviour management system and have been the driver in the high expectations of all pupils. These values of Motivation, Integrity, Resilience, Respectful, Open minded and Reflective are used to establish positive working relationships between pupils and staff and in turn, by working together, we can jointly ensure that each pupil makes progress every day, allowing them to achieve academically and develop into well-rounded individuals who contribute positively in our society.

Whilst academic achievements are an important part of life at our school, all our pupils also have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of sporting, musical and arts opportunities, as well as memorable trips, visitors and residential visits. Our pastoral care is exceptional, ensuring that all pupils are kept safe and are supported both inside and outside of school.

Parents/carers also have an integral part in supporting their child, we ask that they commit to our Home-School Partnership Agreement so that they know what we expect of their child.
