Milton Keynes Preparatory School is a mixed, independent, non-denominational school located in central Milton Keynes, with an integrated nursery. It is part of a group of local schools that includes a pre-prep and an environmental studies centre.
Milton Keynes Preparatory School was established in 1975 and moved into its current building in 1987, where facilities include a modern ICT suite.

Milton Keynes Preparatory School wants children to believe academic success is the norm, enjoying their education in a happy and positive learning environment. Teachers aim to provide a broad and enriching curriculum that gives pupils the opportunity to partake in subjects and activities that they enjoy. Achievements are encouraged and praised. Children are taught to value each other and themselves, and to demonstrate good manners and discipline at all times.

Outcomes for those with SEND, EAL and the more able are equally strong. The wide range of sporting success is a notable feature of the school.
