St Mary & St John is a special place. We are fortunate to have a unique environment which we exploit for the children’s learning experiences. Our staff are dedicated to providing a stimulating, exciting atmosphere where everyone feels valued and safe, ideas can flourish and pupils can realise their full potential.

By providing a well structured and engaging curriculum, and by promoting good behaviour, we aim to enthuse in all children an appreciation of learning as well as respect and care for each other.

Whatever the needs of a child and whatever special interests they may have, we aim to ensure every child thrives during their formative years. We want our pupils' time in school to be memorable and for them to build the skills they will require to allow them to become lifelong learners.

We value highly the partnership between home and school and encourage all parents to take an active part in the education of their children. The partnership between school staff, led by an enthusiastic Headteacher, parents and governors is an essential one and by working together we can provide a secure and thorough education for every childs’ learning journey.
