Science is a large A Level subject area covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with students often progressing onto leading universities to study further Science, Forensics or Medicine related courses. We are now looking for new inspirational Science Teachers to join our thriving Sixth Form and work with students at this critical stage in their education.

A Level Science Teacher

Permanent vacancy - 37 hours per week

£26,298 to £39,609 per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated and inspirational Teacher of A Level Science, to support within a high performing team which boasts large number of learners across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. 

Our new A Level Teacher should foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages scientific and mathematical thinking. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the development of the curriculum and ensure the current scheme of learning is adapted to meet the needs of students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, as well as ensuring students understand the practical components of the course and are fully prepared for the end of year exams.           

Students should be challenged to achieve their full potential, with our new Teacher utilising their natural learner first approach to make a real difference to the future of our learners. We are proud of the large volume of our Science and Maths students who progress onto prestigious and leading universities to continue their academic studies.

We are interested in hearing from individuals from the sector, with a strong understanding of exam preparation, assessment and feedback, and who can deliver dynamic and engaging lessons. Ideally, we are looking for Teachers with a specialism in either Biology or Physics. If you are a highly motivated individual and team player, have previous delivery experience and are interested in working for an outstanding college, we want to hear from you.
