Accelerated Reader Mentor 


17 hours and 5 minutes per week, term time only.  

Grade 8/9 (depending on previous skills and experience)

£12,102 - £14,583 per annum, inclusive of Crawley Market Supplement


We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to this important role. The Accelerated Reader programme has worked successfully for a number of years and is delivered to students in Years 7 and 8. 


Based in the library, the successful candidate will:


• Deliver Accelerated Reader lessons to Year 7 and 8 students

• Motivate and enthuse students about reading, through a range of rewards

• Track and monitor the reading progress of students

• Have the opportunity to make a considerable and sustained impact on the achievement of our students


Experience of working with young people is desirable. A love of reading is essential!
