The School sits on a beautiful rural site in East Devon surrounded by fields, benefitting from its proximity to the beach and open countryside.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Admissions and Marketing Officer to cover a period of maternity leave for up to 18 months, possibly longer. The successful candidate will be positive and proactive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with parents, pupils and staff in a positive, polite and professional manner.

This role is part of a small and busy team providing support across the areas of admissions and marketing, with a specific focus on developing the school’s social media profile. As such, we are seeking someone who works effectively within a team but who is also confident working independently. The diverse demands of the job require someone who is resilient and flexible.

We offer a competitive salary depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates should be prepared to work Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 across the school term time, plus 18 days during the school holidays.

About St Peter's Preparatory School

St Peter’s School is an independent preparatory day and weekly boarding school for around 290 girls and boys between the ages of 3 and 13. Set in 28 beautiful acres overlooking the Exe Estuary, we offer a full and broad curriculum right from the start.  We pride ourselves on our excellent pastoral care, experienced and committed teaching staff and small class sizes.

Our Early Years education is second to none, teaching our youngest pupils to learn through play, and we participate in the government funding scheme. We offer Academic, Music, Art, All-Rounder and Sports scholarships at Year 6. Our pupils gain places to top independent senior schools when they leave us.

We offer weekly and flexi boarding for children aged 7 to 13 in a Boarding House which is a home from home, with a warm family atmosphere.

St Peter’s operates five bus services covering Exeter, East Devon and The Teign Valley.  We use our own 9-seater Tourneos and 17-seater vehicles and they are driven by St Peter’s employees.
