All round Teaching Assistant (Games/Handwork and 1:1)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teaching Assistant to support our school.

The school currently has pupils aged 3-18 and has very recently been appointed as an accredited provider of the Certificate of Steiner Education for the Upper School. 

There is also an opportunity to study for a PGCE and MA in Waldorf Education as GWS becomes a Teaching School.

Key responsibilities for this role:

• Assist the Games Teacher the delivery of the school's games programme;
• Assist the Handwork Teacher in delivering lessons;
• Assist the Class Teacher in lessons;
• Work with pupils on a group or 1 to 1 basis as required;
• Ensure good supervision and discipline;
• Perform general duties such outdoor and breaktime supervision;
• Contribute to other areas by negotiation;
• Contribute to the ethos of this Waldorf school.
