We are seeking ALS Coordinator to join the ALS team, you will help coordinate and be accountable for the planning and delivery of support to students with an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) or SEN Support Plan.

 

The ALS Department is an exceptional place to work, you would be joining a motivated and experienced student focused team who are collaborative and proactive in their approach to supporting students to overcome barriers and achieve their potential. Providing 1:1 support, group interventions and therapeutic sessions to maximise student independence to meet their individual EHCP outcomes.

 

The successful applicant, in conjunction with the ALS Manager will create an inclusive, collaborative and collegiate approach in coordinating support for the teaching, learning and assessment of students with an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) or SEN Support Plan, working across both the Croydon and Coulsdon campuses.

 

Applicants should have managerial experience, be educated to Level 3 standard with a minimum of Level 2 English and Maths and have a comprehensive understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.

 

As the named contact for assigned students, the successful applicant with liaise closely with parents/carers and college staff, provide advice and guidance, implement PEEPs and risk assessments, provide support in unstructured time, and deal with transport issues.
