Job overview

Tenby International School, Setia Eco Gardens opened in January 2013 and is the latest addition to the Tenby Schools group. It is situated in a new housing development within the Iskandar Development Zone and provides an international curriculum for both expatriate and Malaysian students.

You should have a degree, QTS or equivalent and teaching experience, particularly in the areas of child-centred teaching and learning. We are currently an IB Candidate School and are intending to offer the IB Diploma from January 2017. Experience of teaching at Diploma level would therefore be advantageous. Experience of teaching either Art or Design Technology up to GCSE/IGCSE is essential.

Applicants should also have an interest in staff development and preferably have experience in supporting other colleagues- more than half of our staff are Malaysian teachers and a key part of the role is in helping to support in their development as International School teachers.

Contract 
This is a two year contract in the first instance with opportunities for renewal

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is a large 3-16 campus located on a green 19-acre site with excellent facilities and a warm, welcoming community.
