Required September 2015 (temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position in the longer term), a full time teacher of Art (a specialist in Photography would be desirable) to teach across the age and ability range KS3-A’ level. Art is taught by an enthusiastic, experienced and effective team and the department has a history of success and popularity with pupils across all of the age groups. Gillingham is a successful, over-subscribed school which offers excellent resources, outstanding facilities, rising rolls and a special, particular ethos both amongst pupils and staff.

Gillingham School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-19, voluntary-controlled, comprehensive secondary school, situated in Gillingham in Dorset. There are 1,766 students on the school roll, of whom 426 are students in the sixth form. Gillingham School’s roots in the community date back to 1516.
