You will lead on promoting effective learning for children, young people and adults, ensuring that attainment improves and that they are equipped for the world of work.
You will provide a professional, advisory role to schools, academies, colleges and early years’ settings to significantly improve outcomes for children and young people and reduce NEETS.
Leading on education services and functions of the Council as a local education authority, you will work closely with the Executive Director – Wellbeing, Care and Learning to deliver an effective school improvement function that supports, challenges and, where necessary, intervenes to drive up performance and achieve the Council vision of all schools to be outstanding in 5 years.
