Our new Assistant Director will play a key role in establishing Renfrewshire's education services as a high performing function with clear strategic direction and high operational standards. You'll place continuous improvement and quality assurance at the heart of the service, and, building on the findings of the recent report from Renfrewshire's Tackling Poverty Commission, create delivery models that ensure household income is not the defining factor in educational attainment.

We expect that you'll have a track record in delivering improvement in an education setting and the professional credibility and sector knowledge to engage successfully with head teachers and parents. You should offer up-to-date experience of innovative curriculum development to deliver better outcomes for children and young people. Most importantly, you'll share our commitment to deliver the best for every child and have clear ideas on how you can contribute to our ambitions for Renfrewshire.
