Following an organisational review and continuing growth, these new posts will work in partnership with, and report to, our Head of College to develop and deliver an outstanding education for our learners.
A successful candidate will be an experienced Senior Teacher/Lecturer who:
- is an excellent teaching practitioner and an effective manager committed to collaborative working
- shares our passion about seeing potential in young people and helping them to live their lives to the full
- brings a proven record of raising expectations and achievement
- can take strategic responsibility for a key aspect of the College curriculum
This will be a challenging, rewarding and exciting operational and strategic role within a long established large charitable organisation. We have modern, purpose built academic and residential accommodation. We wish to strengthen our management resource with two experienced professionals who can help continue our journey to achieve a seamless education service for young people at St Elizabeth's with the highest standards of teaching and curriculum delivery.

Based in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, St. Elizabeth’s Centre manages and runs a School for 5-19 year olds, a College for 18-25 year olds (supported by a Domiciliary Care Agency) and a Residential Care Home with Nursing. The centre provides education, care and medical support for people of all ages who have epilepsy and other complex needs. Established in 1903, St. Elizabeth’s is one of the charitable works of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross of Liege ("the Congregation"), a Catholic religious congregation, founded in 1833 in Liege, Belgium. The centre is set in set in 65 acres of parkland and employs over 600 staff. As of the most recent inspection there were 37 students in the college facility. The town of Much Hadham has a population of 3,000, and is eight miles north of Harlow.
