Assistant Head Responsible for Mathematics

This is an exciting opportunity, aimed at outstanding, well qualified and inspirational mathematics specialists with a desire to take a next step into senior leadership. We are seeking to appoint an assistant head teacher who will shape the learning of mathematics and lead the mathematics team to further improve the quality of provision in the current infant and junior schools as we move to one primary.

The Governing Body of Filton Avenue Junior School have, following consultation, agreed to move to academy status and merge with the Infant School which is already an academy from September 2015. The successful applicant will play a role in the leadership and further development of the Infant and Junior schools into one amazing primary school across two sites. We are looking to take the best practice each has to offer and learn from the best schools in the country and beyond. We have high ambitions for every pupil in our schools and the community we serve.
