You will be ambitious for the students but also for yourself

• You will need a strong track record of working within the SEN sector and excellent leadership skills
• You will need a knowledge of severe learning difficulties
• You will need the drive and enthusiasm to help develop the school and build on its achievements and support the vision and ethos of the school
• You will need experience of improving teaching and learning, curriculum development and effective use of student data to raise achievement

Woodlands School is a day community school, twice judged by Ofsted as outstanding, for children aged 3-11 with severe and complex learning difficulties, including autism.

This is a very special time to join our school, as we build on our existing success to take learning and personal development to the next stage. Woodlands is an oversubscribed school which is currently in a process of exciting expansion programme to provide additional school places. The extension building will include four new classes and resource areas. The building work will conclude in September 2015.
