About Ormiston Bridge Academy

Located in Hammersmith and Fulham, Ormiston Bridge Academy is a secondary alternative provision academy that provides full-time education and support for up to 150 learners who are not accessing mainstream schools. We have an inclusive philosophy and believe passionately in giving every learner we meet many chances to succeed. The academy was judged as good by Ofsted, in September 2021.   • At Key Stage 3 learners are taught the core subjects alongside a thematic curriculum.
  • At Key Stage 4 learners can access a range of different GCSE subjects, as well as a varied vocational offer.

Ormiston Bridge Academy has an extremely effective team of teachers and learning support professionals who work with the learners to minimise barriers to learning and who provide individual and family support. Staff work hard to ensure that the education learners receive is tailored to meet their individual needs and designed to give them the skills to improve their life chances. Ormiston Bridge Academy aims to support the reintegration of learners into full-time education in school, further education or employment.
