An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint an exceptional Assistant Headteacher and qualified SENCO to join our Senior Leadership Team.

 

Purpose of the Job

  • To work closely with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, and Governors in the strategic development of staff performance and standards.
  • The Assistant Headteacher will lead provision for our most vulnerable pupils.
  • The postholder will be fundamental in developing and motivating staff, setting high expectations, embedding learning and teaching strategies and raising achievement, contributing to our rigorous and on-going self-evaluation and taking responsibility for leading specific areas/initiatives to secure further school wide improvements.  

 

SENCO

The Assistant Headteacher will have specific responsibility for:

•        SEND and Inclusion

•        Provision and outcomes for specified groups of vulnerable students

•        Mental wellbeing of students and staff

•        Safeguarding

 

This position would suit an experienced and successful Middle Leader or a current Assistant Headteacher, who is looking to increase their leadership skills and impact. Alongside having strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team, you will be an outstanding practitioner with a strong and consistent record of success, who will be committed to raising the achievement of all learners.
