Blythe Bridge High School & Sixth Form, a Foundation Trust School, is seeking to appoint a creative, energetic and enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher – Behaviour and Safety who is able to implement whole school systems and procedures relating to all aspects of student behaviour and safety.

Our school is situated in the Staffordshire Moorlands, which boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in the country yet has strong transport links to the East & West Midlands, the North West and London.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and dedicated Leadership Team in a school that “has a distinctive character that fosters leadership, creativity, innovation and shared values and responsibility.” Ofsted 2014.

Located in the village of Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire, Blythe Bridge High School is a co-educational secondary school. The school has around 1000 pupils aged 11-18, around 100 of whom reside in the school’s sixth form, making it average-sized for a school of its type. As a foundation school, Blythe Bridge High School is run entirely by the local authority. Although the vast majority of teaching takes place on-site, a small number of pupils make use of alternative provision where necessary.
