Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba is seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher for our Early Years Foundation Stage, incorporating a nursery (from Years +), Foundation Stage 1, and Foundation Stage 2. The successful candidate will have a proven record of success, to join the dynamic and highly successful Primary leadership team at Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba, as of August 2024. 

The successful candidate will collaboratively lead and facilitate whole school improvement and will report directly to the Primary Headteacher.  

 

The ideal candidate would: 

  • Hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in Education. 
  • Hold 3 years' experience in a leadership role within Education. 
  • Have recent leadership experience in Early Years Foundation Stage, including inspiring and motivating teams to achieve excellence, as well as holding others to account. 
  • Role-model supportive and positive relationships with children, staff, and parents. 
  • Be able to generate creative solutions to overcome barriers to success. 
  • Be able to innovate their own and others' practice to meet ever-increasing expectations. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to facilitate outstanding learning. 
  • Demonstrate a thorough and in-depth understanding of: 
  • outstanding classroom practice 
  • purposeful curriculum design 
  • effective assessment and moderation practices
