Jessop Primary School & Children’s Centre is a successful school with outstanding achievement and a strong focus on participation in music and creative curriculum. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion who can join our team to develop our vision and drive its implementation across the school.

Are you an excellent, energetic and creative teacher? Do you have a passion, for the support of children around SEN, LAC,EMA and experience around Inclusion? Can you promote high standards and enable all children to achieve? Do you have the ability to motivate and enthuse others in promoting excellence? Then you could be part of an energetic and committed team, who are benefiting from a focused and exciting group of professionals, here to benefit the pupils in their care.

This is a non class based post with some teaching required.

You will need to be:

  • An excellent teacher who can be a role model for others in the way that you engage children in their learning and inspire them to meet each new challenge
  • An expert practitioner with a deep knowledge of the curriculum and experience in more than one key stage, with EYFS desirable.
  • A motivated leader who can inspire staff to develop their practice, improve standards and embrace change
  • An efficient and effective manager who can monitor teaching and learning throughout the curriculum using a range of evidence, including observation and data, for the purpose of ensuring high standards and devising strategies for improvement
  • A skilful communicator who can form effective partnerships with all stakeholders
