We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic practitioner who has experience of making a positive impact on whole school improvement. The successful candidate will have curriculum and pastoral responsibility for specific aspects of the whole school curriculum.

The post will suit a person who is looking for the opportunity to gain the appropriate experience and professional development opportunities to progress further in their career in the future.

Coombe Boys’ School is an over subscribed, single-sex, multi-ethnic, secondary school which shares a sixth form with its sister school, Coombe Girls’ School. The school is part of the Coombe Academy Trust which incorporates two secondary and three primary schools. Many aspects of the successful candidate’s work will involve working in partnership with the other schools which presents many opportunities to develop professional experience and skills.

Coombe Boys’ School is a comprehensive secondary school offering a broad and balanced curriculum to local boys aged 11-16. We also have a mixed sixth form run in close collaboration with Coombe Girls’ School.  There are approximately 1100 students on roll including the sixth form.  The school has held academy status since 2012, as part of the Coombe Academy Trust (CAT) which also incorporates Coombe Girls’ School, Knollmead Primary School, Green Lane Primary & Nursery School, and Robin Hood Primary & Nursery School.  The school is based in New Malden close to the A3 and with Motspur Park station within 8 minutes walking distance.
