Studio@Deyes is seeking an inspirational Assistant Headteacher who is dynamic, creative and ambitious to join the Senior Leadership Team for the opening of Liverpool’s newest school.

The Assistant Headteacher will be responsible for the leadership of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects with a whole school responsibility as negotiated at interview. The role will provide strategic direction and development for STEM at Studio@Deyes, to ensure that it is well led, managed and looking for continuous improvement. This exciting opportunity will include teaching in any of the four disciplines, leading by example and modeling best practice.

The Studio@Deyes is a co-educational, non-denominational 14-19 studio school in Liverpool. The school is one of only 36 Studio Schools nationwide, and is provisioned to teach up to 300 students the skills required for successful careers in Engineering, Textiles and Business. The school has its own large car park, and is 150m from Wavertree Technology Park Station. The school is located in Wavertree, which has a population of 14,800 and is home to many students who study at one of Liverpool’s three universities.
