This new role gives an exciting opportunity to provide the strategic direction of teaching, learning and quality in the College, leading to a Centre of Excellence. We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational leader with extensive knowledge of quality management including teaching, learning and assessment, quality Improvement and implementing robust quality processes. You will also be responsible for the self-assessment process, student services, the library, equality and diversity, eLearning and staff development.
You are an influential communicator, a champion of excellence and have proven experience in affecting cultural change and developing a more performance driven culture. You will need an in-depth understanding of the sector, Ofsted and QAA.

Northampton College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college situated in Northamptonshire. It is a 16-plus institution with three campuses: a major building at its main Northampton site, a smaller campus near the town centre and another 20 miles away in Daventry. It provides places for around 9,000 students aged 16 and over, most of whom are full-time and aged 16-18.
Northampton College was opened in 1973. It merged with Daventry Tertiary College to expand its Daventry campus in August 2004, and its Booth Lane campus reopened after a large redevelopment in 2012.
