Saint Paul’s is an expanding 11-16 Voluntary Academy and part of the Wythenshawe Catholic Academy Trust.

As our Assistant Site Manager you will work an alternative and overlapping shift pattern with our Site Manager with shared responsibility for the management of the school’s facilities, health and safety and premises support services. The role requires working a shift operation from 11.30am –7.00pm Monday – Friday, with occasional daytime shifts.

The role involves cleaning and maintaining the fabric of the School to a high standard and offering a dedicated range of Site Managerial, cleaning and janitorial services for the Pupils, Parents and Staff at the School The Ideal candidate will have an existing trade skill such as Joinery or Plumbing, will have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of general DIY and work based Health and Safety. They will also have a clean driving licence and a flexible approach.

St Paul’s is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school situated in Newall Green, Manchester. Operating under the Diocese of Shrewsbury, St Paul’s is part of the multi-academy Wythenshawe Catholic Academy Trust (WCAT), which also supports three local schools at primary level. Slightly smaller than the average secondary school, it will provide 900 places for pupils aged 11-16, when fully subscribed.

The school reopened as an academy in March 2013.
