Responsible to: Head of School Standards
Contract term: 1 year initially (secondment opportunities will be considered)

As the lead advisor for schools at risk and causing concern, you will make a strong and effective contribution to the improvement of Wolverhampton’s schools in order to raise standards of educational achievement through the chairing of School Improvement Boards, the coordination of the LA’s use of Statutory Powers of Intervention and by supporting and advising IEBs.

We need an experienced senior leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who understands best practice and has the ability to monitor and challenge schools, supporting them to embed improvement.

Our new and improved team is expanding with exciting new roles and we need experienced professionals to join us – people who are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and have a real passion for improving outcomes for over 40,000 children and young people across the City.
