The role:
We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious academic practitioner/researcher to jointly lead the BA Fashion: Womenswear Pathway and to play a significant role in the BA Fashion team. You will build on the international reputation of Fashion Design at CSM and play a key role in leading the development of undergraduate study in the discipline. In addition, you will contribute to the delivery of the course through your provision of inspiring and supporting learning opportunities as well as your effective management of resources, providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for students and colleagues alike.

The Pathway Leader will enhance professional, academic, and research partnerships to ensure that the course anticipates the changing needs of the global fashion design industry, commerce, and society.

Your profile:
As a sophisticated and innovative Fashion Design practitioner/researcher and academic, you will be regarded as a leading authority within your own area. You will have an in depth understanding and personal experience of the relationship of fashion education with the fashion industry, both nationally and internationally. Creative and highly motivated, you will be able to take up the challenges of enabling diverse student cohorts to explore the discipline of Fashion Womenswear Design, to reach their full potential and to foster new approaches to Fashion Design practice and research. You will have the ability to lead and to work as part of a team, sharing your knowledge with colleagues and students alike.
