Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School, including the mainstream nursery BlueSky Nursery, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 264 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. Queensbury School provides for 245 students who have MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health). Mayfield School educates children and young people, who have a range of learning difficulties, between the ages of 3 and 19 and have approximately 300 students on roll.

Bluesky nursery caters for mainstream children from 2 years to 4 years 11 months old and operates from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

 

About this Role:

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner to assist the Nursery Manager who has the ability to maintain outstanding practice in an exciting, innovative environment. This is the ideal opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner to develop their career progression and build relationships with staff and parents, whilst delivering excellent care for the children.

Ensuring that you work within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and the Bluesky Nursery/Wilson Stuart School Safeguarding Policy and guidelines set out by Birmingham Safeguarding Children’s Board.

Ensuring that all children attending the setting receives high quality care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs.

You must:

-       Hold a full and relevant childcare qualification

-       Experience of working with teams

-       Have the ability to motivate and inspire others

-       Be passionate about providing the highest quality of childcare possible

-       Have the ability to work on own initiative.

-       Have in depth knowledge of the EYFS, relevant policies, legislation & safeguarding
