St Bede’s College is a leading Catholic Independent Co-educational Grammar School in Manchester. Our aim is inspire excellence and instil values is every aspect of College-life so that all our pupils become well-rounded and capable individuals.

We are academically strong (over 60% of our Sixth Form left for Russell Group universities last year), our Catholic ethos creates a warm and friendly environment where every pupil is known and supported to flourish.

A new Headmaster was appointed from January 2015 and now we looking for an innovative Bursar to lead the financial management of the College and develop the College strategically throughout this next exciting phase of the College’s development.

You are:

  • Able to manage the financial administration of the College, exercise leadership with strategic and commercial skills to take St Bede’s forward
  • Dedicated to ensuring that the school’s mission, aims and values are at the heart of everything the College does
  • An outstanding manager of people, able to communicate with, listen to and motivate all members of the school community
  • Able to bring business acumen and financial rigour to the College
  • Energetic, hardworking, determined, ambitious, creative and reflective
  • An excellent understanding of the value of Catholic Independent education

Values and vision

Though the school aims to teach the values of Christ, students may be of all faiths and none. St Bede’s College aims for excellence by encouraging a curiosity to learn and a creative outlook.
