Hackney Learning Trust is a department within Hackney Council that is responsible for Hackney's children's centres, 27,000 pupils in 75 schools and early years and adult education. Our vision is to provide excellent education for every child, young person and adult learner.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands on Business Manager with knowledge of business process improvement, project management techniques, business planning & systems, office management and the ability to manage upwards.

This is a wide-ranging role, providing support and direction to education service managers across a range of activities and functions through routine service delivery as well as developing new ways of working, digital applications, and traded services. You will lead and manage business support and administrative staff across a number of services, and deliver defined projects as required by the Head of Business Operations. The ability to work on multiple activities simultaneously and prioritise the most critical is essential.

The remit is largely an internal one and will involve stakeholder management within the organisation. You will work closely with our specialist functions to assist in the development of quality services to meet the needs of our external customers.

A degree in a Business related specialism is essential for this role.
